Victoria was referred to Dallas Furniture Bank to receive furniture for her family after entering a transitional housing program at a DFB partner agency.
Victoria had recently left an abusive marriage, completed an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program, re-enrolled at a local community college, and was in the process of regaining custody of her children. Before she could be reunited with her children, Victoria had to provide a furnished living space where they could live together.
DFB delivered furniture to Victoria’s apartment, including a sectional sofa, living room accessories, a dining table with chairs, a bed for herself, and beds for each of her children.
Because of the support Dallas Furniture Bank receives from people like you, Victoria was able to create a real home for her family and regain custody of her children, who were thrilled to have their own functional and comfortable pieces.
