Dallas Furniture Bank Appreciates Any Donation
Dallas Furniture Bank is dedicated to providing our Dallas community with slightly used furniture to families who are coming out of poverty or homelessness. We genuinely appreciate any donation whether it be furniture, volunteer time helping move and pickup furniture, or donating money where all proceeds go towards helping those in need.
Dallas Furniture Bank is grateful to receive gently or lightly used basic household furniture items and home accessories. Dallas Furniture Bank will accept essential furniture items: Free of rips, tears, stains, and pet hair.
There is a $50.00 charge for all furniture pickups! - Payments can be processed with Mastercard/Visa via phone and is required at the time of scheduling.

Dallas Furniture Bank is grateful to receive gently or lightly used basic household furniture items and home accessories. Dallas Furniture Bank will accept essential furniture items: Free of rips, tears, stains, and pet hair.
- There is a $50.00 charge for all furniture pickups! - Payments can be processed with Mastercard/Visa via phone and is required at the time of scheduling,
- Sofas / Loveseats (no section exceeding 7 feet)
- Upholstered Chairs
- Coffee Tables / End Tables
- Dining Room Table & Chairs
- Mattresses / Box Springs - drop-off only
- Bed Frames (complete sets only, secured together)
- Dressers / Chests / Night Stands
- Lamps
Please note we do not accept furniture that is broken, stained or torn, or affects hygiene or health concerns (e.g., cigarette smoke, urine, pet hairs, dry rot, or mold).
Dallas Furniture Bank DOES NOT accept the items listed below:
- Appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators and stoves, etc.)
- No Large Sofa (over 7ft) or Oversized Upholstered Chairs
- Armoires and entertainment centers
- Televisions
- Glass Table Tops
- King size mattresses or king-size bed sets
- Water beds
- Clothes
- Toys, books, dishes/kitchen utensils, bath towels, bed pillows (used)
- Kitchen cabinets, ceiling fans, other items that attach to building structures
- Commercial office furniture (e.g., cubicles, office desks)
- Computers
Please Note: DFB staff/drivers reserve the right to make final decisions on furniture item condition. DFB does not pick up from 3rd-floor apartments. Refunds are not offered for trips made for pick-ups that do not adhere to our policies.

Your financial contributions greatly impact and improve the quality of life, self-esteem and chance of success for those who are in need by providing a furnished, livable environment where they can find comfort, safety and opportunity to grow and flourish.
$5,000.00 Provides basic furnishings for 20 families of two in a one bedroom apartment.
$2,500.00 Provides operational support for Dallas Furniture Bank.
$1,200 Provides twin beds for 20 children that have never had a bed of their own.
$500.00 Provides 4-drawer chests for 6 children.
$250.00 Provides basic furnishings for a family of two in a one bedroom apartment.
Donate Time
DFB offers many opportunities for you to volunteer your time and make a difference in someone’s life. DFB collaborates with our volunteers to raise awareness, serve our clients, provide leadership with annual events and participate in a variety of annual special projects. Activities at DFB are great for individuals, corporate groups, small groups and churches.
